What do you think about it?
Is this a common solution?
Alex writes under the video that the bike's handling is better and it has more tire choices.

Re: 17 inch achterwiel op R1100RT
I must say that I never realised the differences in wheel sizes between the 1100 and the 1150 before moving from a 1100 (with brand new tyres) to a 1150 (that needed new tyres) and thus couldn't swap over the tyres.
I also never really heard of people using 1150 wheels on a 1100, so I don't think it's a common solution.
Since both models are almost identical it doesn't surprise me they could fit, but you can easily find out yourself by test driving an R1100RT and an R1150RT and compare the driving experience.

Re: 17 inch achterwiel op R1100RT
Hoi Karol,
Succes,
Niels
(in case Google Translate is no help, let me know)

(Very good news. I thought that 18 inch rear wheel on the R1100RT is actually a problem that is solved by changing to a 17 inch rim.)
